Discuss and consider immediate referral to a preventative cardiologist if you are considered at high risk because of symptoms, or other concerns based on your Personal Risk-Profile Score (such as a very strong family history, very high cholesterol numbers or poorly controlled high blood pressure).

Complete your final report and recommendations. If the results are reassuring, nothing more may be required. If there are concerns, based on your plaque testing results or risk factors, you may be advised to consider a consultation with a preventative cardiologist, in which case a referral can be made.
